Hi, I’m Anne Smith.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wisconsin and the founder of Marriage and Family Focus, and Wholeself Experiencing.

I built my practice around modeling healthy communication and supportive behaviors, offering a holistic approach from many theories to address the needs of my clients.

My expertise in alternative and holistic approaches serves to help clients with a personalized and comprehensive wellness journey. I use visualization and mind/body techniques to support my clients with being more present-moment-focused. My experience assisting with somatic processing for mind and body connection offers improved client insights for greater comprehension of emotions, needs, thoughts, and behaviors. I also support clients' ability to connect with deeper emotions through inner-child parts work and spiritual and kundalini awakenings.

Why Wholeself?

I have always based my practice around the whole person; while some therapies focus on the mind or the body I see both as being interconnected. Our physical health affects our mental health and vice versa. For therapy to be most effective I feel that we must look not only at what we think but all what we feel. For this reason I like to think about therapy as looking at the wholeself.
